Our Mission

Our programs use athletics as a vehicle to teach life skills and the benefits of making healthy choices by providing services, support, and mentor ship to our youth participants.

OBJECTIVE

 T.R.U. Org. strives to empower young people through athletics, guiding them toward healthy lifestyle choices.  We strive to further mental and social development; and allow equal opportunities for all children regardless of race, religion, gender, physical ability, or economic status.

 MENTORSHIP

Mentorship is a crucial component of maximizing young people’s potential.  By staffing our programs with experienced professionals dedicated to the advancement of young people,  we create leaders not just in the field of play but for years beyond.  Through the shared experiences, our mentors implement teaching techniques and provide the necessary encouragement to fuel young people’s personal growth. 

EDUCATION

Many disadvantaged students in urban and rural environments lack the availability of the resources that stimulate their intellectual development.  T.R.U. Org. programs present alternative education and aim to inspire and motivate continuous learning.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

By creating partnerships with local government, community organizations, law enforcement, and businesses we highlight the power of unity.  Providing youth the opportunity to experience support for them, and in turn value themselves, their community and ultimately their responsibility in the development of our society as a whole.  

HEALTH AND WELLNESS:

Making healthy choices is an essential part of the development of young people.  Our programs emphasize the importance of physical activity and proper eating habits.  Our instructors coaches and volunteers share their knowledge, experience, and techniques regarding health and fitness, providing sustainable techniques designed for healthier futures.
